The Athenis Owl Pendant is detailed in a way that rewards a close look. The chest is pavé-set with tiny clear crystals packed right to the edge, the eyes are two small deep red stones, and the wings folded at each side are engraved with feather lines rather than left plain. Small gold feet perch on a bar at the base beneath a fanned gold tail. The reverse is not an afterthought either - it is a panel of dark speckled black obsidian, so the pendant reads bright from the front and earthy from the back. It hangs from a smooth bail on a fine flat snake chain, included. Built on a tarnish-resistant stainless steel base, nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
STYLING TIP: The owl has a lot going on, so give it a plain neckline and no competing pendant. It sits just below the collarbone on the chain supplied, which is the length that shows the wing engraving best.
