The Lapisia Royal Chain sets rough-cut lapis lazuli chips into a slim 24K gold-tone rice bar chain. Lapis is the deep royal blue that has been prized since antiquity - marbled with paler blue and white calcite, and scattered with tiny flecks of natural pyrite that catch the light like gold dust in the stone. Left as irregular tumbled chips rather than polished spheres, the cluster keeps the raw character of the mineral. Lapis lazuli is worn for wisdom, truth and clarity of thought. Tarnish-resistant stainless steel base, nickel-free and hypoallergenic, with a secure lobster clasp.
STYLING TIP: This is a colour piece, so treat it as the accent. It is strongest against white, cream, camel and navy, and it looks deliberate rather than accidental when everything else is plain. The pyrite flecks in the stone pick up the gold of the chain, which is what keeps the blue from feeling bolted on.
