DESCRIPTION:
The Umbra Crystal Chain is the only piece in the crystal range built on a black chain rather than gold. The base is a slim matte black IP-plated boxer chain - fine round box links with an almost industrial finish - and set into the front is a cluster of glossy black obsidian alternating with warm metallic pyrite, separated by small polished gold spacer balls. The effect is deliberately moody: the dark stone almost disappears into the chain, and the gold spacers are the only thing that catches light. Pyrite for abundance, black obsidian for grounding and protection. Tarnish-resistant stainless steel base, nickel-free and hypoallergenic, with a secure lobster clasp.
STYLING TIP: Black jewellery works hardest against light clothing - white, cream, pale grey - where the chain reads as a clean dark line. Against black it disappears. It is the most masculine-leaning piece in the crystal range and sits well with a plain open collar.
