The Verdelle Emerald Pendant is a single stone and nothing else. An upright rectangular emerald-green crystal is step cut - long parallel facets rather than the usual brilliant scatter - which gives it depth and a slow, glassy shine instead of fussy sparkle. It sits in a plain smooth gold bezel with a short rounded bail, no claws, no surrounding stones, no engraving. Everything about it is deliberately quiet so the colour does the work. It comes on a wide flat herringbone chain, which lies flush to the skin and keeps the pendant facing forward. Built on a tarnish-resistant stainless steel base, nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
