The Vulpia Fox Pendant is built around one dark stone. A polished oval of black obsidian forms the fox face, held in a plain gold bezel with two sharp ears rising from the top, and from there the body sweeps down and round into a curved tail pavé-set with tiny clear crystals. The result reads as a fox in outline rather than a literal animal charm, which is what keeps it wearable. It hangs from a smooth bail on a fine flat snake chain, included. Obsidian is traditionally worn as a shielding stone, and the fox for cleverness, so it carries a bit of meaning as a gift. Built on a tarnish-resistant stainless steel base, nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
STYLING TIP: The black stone is the anchor, so Vulpia works best against light colours - cream, white, camel - where the obsidian reads clearly. Wear it alone on a bare neckline; a second pendant competes with the tail and the shape gets lost.
